Farewell to Xana

Sadly, our dog Xana, a long-time Wednesday Walker died on Monday night, of a wasting anaemic illness, probably brought on by a recent severe dose of tick fever. She was almost eleven and well known to all of us. She was fiercely loyal to Myriam, and had a streak of independence, which had in the past, caused much stress to chickens we encountered on our walks. She will be sadly missed.
